Data Deletion Instructions

BizChat, operated by Originfuture Tech Private Limited ("we," "our," or "us"), gives you full control over your data. This page explains how to request deletion of your account and the information we hold about you, including any data obtained through Meta Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp). 1. Delete Your Data From Within BizChat

If you have an account, this is the fastest method:

  • Sign in at app.bizzchat.tech.
  • Go to Settings → Organization (or Settings → Profile for your personal account).
  • Select Delete account and confirm.

Account owners who delete an organization will also delete all data belonging to that organization, including team members' access, contacts, conversations, and connected channels.

2. Request Deletion by Email

If you cannot sign in, or you connected to BizChat through Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp and want your data removed, email us at hello@bizzchat.tech from the address associated with your account with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Include any business or phone number you used so we can locate your records.

We may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request to protect your account.

3. Deleting Data Obtained Through Meta

When you connect a channel using Facebook Login or WhatsApp Embedded Signup, BizChat receives data such as your business account ID, WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) ID, phone number IDs, page IDs, and access tokens needed to send and receive messages on your behalf.

To remove this data you can either:

  • Disconnect the channel in Settings → Channels, which revokes the stored tokens and removes the connection; or
  • Remove BizChat from your Meta account at Facebook Settings → Business Integrations, then email us to confirm deletion of any remaining records.

4. What Gets Deleted

Upon a verified request, we permanently delete:

  • Your account profile (name, email, hashed password)
  • Organization data you own (settings, team membership, API keys)
  • Contacts, conversations, and messages stored in your workspace
  • Connected channel credentials and access tokens obtained via Meta
  • Uploaded media and files associated with your account

5. What We May Retain

We may retain a limited amount of information where required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or enforce our agreements (for example, billing and transaction records). Retained data is kept only as long as necessary and is otherwise isolated from active use.

6. Timeline & Confirmation

We process deletion requests within 30 days. Backups containing your data are purged on our regular backup rotation, typically within an additional 30 days. We will email you a confirmation once your data has been deleted.
